All Class/ Open House Schedule 4/28-5/16

We will be running a special All Class/ Open House schedule prior to our Team Tryouts. This is a great opportunity for athletes to get in the gym and work on their skills to get ready for tryouts and for new friends to learn about our gym! We will offer a wide variety of different classes.

This special schedule will run 4/28-5/16

Recreational Class Descriptions

Cheer Combo Classes

Our Cheer Combo classes are great for kids wanting to work on a little bit of everything to do with cheerleading. In these classes they will spend time on tumbling, cheer jumps, motions, and stunts.

-Preschool Cheer Combo (Ages 3-5)

Our Preschool Cheer Combo class is a great class for little ones getting started in cheer. They will work on beginning and foundational tumbling skills, cheer jumps and cheer motions. 

-Mini Cheer Combo (Ages 6-10)

Our Mini Cheer Combo class is a great class for kids ages 6-9 wanting to work on every part of cheerleading. They will work on beginning and foundational tumbling skills, cheer jumps, cheer motions and even stunts. 

Tumbling Classes

Our tumbling classes focus on safety and proper progressions. We believe in teaching quality technique with correct form. All of the coaches at Eagle Elite are certified, trained, and have years of experience to ensure that all athletes learn tumbling skills correctly and safely. Our tumbling classes are based on tumbling skills and not age, athletes should attend the class for which they have the prerequisite skill requirements. (most of our tumbling classes require tumbling skill prerequisites, read about our tumbling classes below or talk with one of our coaches for more information) 

-Walkovers Class

*No skill requirement/ beginner friendly*

This class is a great tumbling class for those just getting started in tumbling or anyone still needing to work on the basics. In this class they will work on the fundamental and foundational skills of tumbling like handstands, cartwheels, roundoffs, bridges, backbends, kickovers, and back and front walkovers. 

-Back handspring Class

*A strong back walkover and front walkover is required*

This Class is for anyone needing to learn, or work on their back handsprings. Kids will work on strengthening fundamental tumbling skills, standing back handsprings and running back handsprings as well as combo passes and multiple back handsprings.

-Tuck Class

*Strong standing multiple back handspring and running multiple back handspring required*

This class is for anyone needing to learn or work on strengthening back tucks and other level 3 skills. In this class they will work on the standing back tuck as well as the back handspring tuck, round off tuck, and roundoff back handspring tuck. They will also work on punch fronts, aerials, and combo level 3 passes.

-Advanced Tumbling Class

*A strong standing tuck and running backhandspring tuck is required*

This class is for athletes needing to work on more advanced tumbling skills. They will work on skills like: Layouts, whips, twisting skills, advanced combo passes and other level 4, 5 and 6 tumbling skills.

-What are prerequisite skills?

*Some classes have prerequisite skills required. Prerequisite skills should be able to be done by the athletes safely by themselves on the floor.

Prerequisite skills are required for certain tumbling classes to ensure the best class experience for everyone, and that athletes are learning skills in the proper progression with safe and correct technique. If you have any questions about our skill requirements or proper progressions feel free to ask any of our coaches!

More Cheer Classes

We are excited to offer a variety of classes on our schedule! These classes are a great way to work on the other important aspects of cheerleading and or dance! Work with our wonderful, experienced and passionate coaches in these different classes! 

-Flexibility & Jumps Class

*This class has no skill requirement*

In this class students will work on a mix of flexibility and jumps. The flexibility portion is great for all athletes, there will be a focus on specific flexibility positions needed for flyers along with the flexibility needed for great jumps and tumbling and mobility. In the jump portion of the class students will work on many different drills for toe touches, pike jumps and hurdlers. 

-Tryout Preparation Class

*This class has no skill requirement*

Get ready for tryouts with our Tryout Prep Class. Athletes will work on each aspect of the tryout including tumbling, jumps and motion and 8 count work. Athletes will also be able to participate in a mock tryout to feel better prepared! 

Dance Classes

We are excited to offer a variety of dance classes on our schedule! These classes are a great way to learn and work on important aspects of All Star Dance! They are great for current and aspiring dancers! Our Coaching staff have years of experience working with dancers and we are excited to be able to expand our dance program and offer more dance classes! 

Tiny/Mini Dance Class (Ages 3-8)

*This class has no skill requirements *

Our Tiny/Mini Dance class is great for kids ages 3 to 8! In this class students will learn pom motions, work on 8 count dances for both pom and hip hop and have a ton of fun! They will also work on technique for turns and leaps, and work on different dance tricks, jumps and lifts. 

Youth/Junior Dance Class (Ages 9 & up)

*This class has no skill requirements *

Our Youth/Junior Dance class is great for kids ages 9 and up! In this class students will learn pom motions, work on 8 count dances for both pom and hip hop and have a ton of fun! They will also work on technique for turns and leaps, and work on different dance tricks, jumps and lifts. 

Leaps & Turns (beginner)

*This class has no skill requirements *

In this class students will learn and work on the fundamentals and technique needed for dance turns and leaps. 

Leaps & Turns (intermediate/advanced)

*A strong double pirouette and  right, left center leaps required*

In this class students will learn and work on the fundamentals and technique needed for more difficult dance turns such as turns in second, leg hold turns, turn sequences and more along with more difficult leaps and jumps.

Private Lessons & Special Clinics

Private Lessons

Our experienced, certified and credentialed coaches offer a variety of different private lessons. These are one on ones with a coach of your choice.

Clinics

Our special weekend clinics are 90 minutes and separated into several skill specific sessions. Each session is limited to 12 athletes per session and are coached by our USASF credentialed coaches with 13+ years experience. Clinics

Private Lesson Cancelation Policy

Private lessons with our certified and credentialed coaches are in high demand. We have a limited number of openings, and sometimes waiting lists for certain spots. Because of this we do have a cancelation policy for Private Lessons (this does not apply to regular classes) 

We ask that you give our coaches 24 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling a private lesson. Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours notice will still be charged for.


Private lessons must be paid for on the same day they occur, or can be paid for in advance. They will not be carried on your account. 

FAQs

Do I need to sign up ahead of time?

All of our recreational classes are "Drop in" so you are not required to sign up ahead of time. You do have the option to do so through our online portal. (You are required to sign up ahead of time for our special weekend tumbling clinics.) 

How do I know what class my child should attend?

You can read about all of our classes at the top of this page. Some of our tumbling classes have required prerequisite skills that athletes should be able to do unassisted on the floor. You can find the required skills for each class in the class descriptions at the top of this page. If you are still unsure of what class would be a good fit feel free to ask us, we would be happy to help! (if you child is brand new to cheer or tumbling the walkover class is a great beginner friendly option! If your child is between the ages of 3-5 the Preschool class would be a good fit)

What do I need to do before I come to class?

We do not require you to register for classes ahead of time, however we do ask that you have an account created with us in our online system. You can create an account HERE

What should my child wear to class?

They are welcome to wear whatever they are comfortable moving around in. They can wear clean tennis shoes or go barefoot. (We do not allow them to wear only socks in class for safety reasons to prevent them for slipping on the mats.) 

Can we try it out first?

Yes! We offer a Free Trial for your first class with us! (free trials are for our CLASSES only, we do not offer trials for clinics or private lessons)

What are prerequisite skills?

Some tumbling classes (back handsprings, tucks, level 3+, advanced) have prerequisite skills required. Prerequisite skills should be able to be done by the athletes safely by themselves on the floor.

Who will be teaching the class?

All of our classes are instructed by our Eagle Elite Coaches, who are truly the best around. We pride ourselves on the training, certification, and credentialing of all of our staff members. All of our coaches have years of experience, and undergo continuous training and education.
